Description: Neapolitan Louis Philippe mirror from the first half of the 19th century, entirely sculpted, carved and gilded with gold leaf. The mirror presents itself as a triumph of carved wood with a movement that develops from bottom to top where it is possible to appreciate all its finesse. The cymatium is a succession of rocaille volutes with a plant motif with a shell in the centre. 130xH190cm. The mirror is made of mercury glass and is contemporary to the wooden frame.
